Smith in Frenchtown, 10/20

New book by Frenchtown poet.
Come hear Frenchtown poet, John Smith, reading from his recently released poetry collection, "Even That Indigo," at the Frenchtown Methodist Church on Saturday, October 20  from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. 

John is a retired English teacher from Hunterdon Central Regional High School. One of the collection's poems, "Red Moon" has been nominated by the US1 Poet's Cooperative for a Pushcart Prize.  

The reading with be accompanied by a showing of original paintings by Michael McFadden, a technology teacher at Central, and classical guitar music by Jonathan Klizas, a music teacher at Hillsborough High School.  

With fresh tea brewed by Chai-Wallah, the new tea and book shop in Frenchtown, and cookies from Eat Cake and scones from the Lovin' Oven, you will have a delightful evening of art and a sampling of Frenchtown's finest talents.
