Fiction writer Alison Ruth's short stories have appeared widely in literary journals, including: J Journal (John Jay College), for which she received two Pushcart Prize nominations; Southern Indiana Review (University of Southern Indiana); G.W. Review (George Washington University); and Tulane Literary Magazine. Her highly anticipated first novel, Near-Mint Cinderella, is forthcoming from Aqueous Books. Alison has also been a feature writer for the popular music magazines Creem, Rock, Rock Fever, and Wavelength. S. Thomas Summers is the author of an exciting new collection of historically based poetry entitled Private Hercules McGraw: Poems of the American Civil War, published by Anaphora Literary Press. It is available on  His work has also appeared in numerous literary journals, and he contributed two poems to the seminal 2010 anthology Beyond the Rift: Poets of the Palisades, published by The Poets Press.
