Join us for the opening of Robeson Library's American Haiku Collection with haiku works from the Pamela Miller Ness and Nicholas Virgilio haiku collections. Guest speakers include Rick Black, publisher of the newly released book, “Nick Virgilio: A Life in Haiku;” Raffael deGruttola, editor of the new Virgilio book; and Elizabeth Moser, curator of the exhibition.

Come celebrate the life and poetry of Nick Virgilio as a community reading will be held from his new book, “Nick Virgilio: A Life in Haiku.” The program will feature remarks by Monsignor Michael Doyle as well as a reading of new poems and section of the book by the poet’s surviving brother, Tony, as well as Rick Black, Henry Brann, Monsignor Michael Doyle, Raffael de Gruttola, Kathleen O’Toole and many others.
