A former newspaper reporter, Maude now creates Christian inspirational poetry and poems to record family history. A born again believer, she has been seriously engaged in writing as a ministry for twenty-five years. The poet is a three-time finalist and twice the recipient of Editor’s Choice Awards in the national Allen Ginsberg contest. Twice she won awards for poetry at the annual St. Catherine of Bologna Patron of the Arts Photo, Art & Poetry Exhibition in Ringwood, NJ. Her poems have appeared in The Paterson Literary Review, Sensations Magazine, Lips, The Pillar Monthly, and William W. Francis’ book, Celebrate the Feasts of the Lord.
The poet is a member of the North Jersey Christian Writer’s Group, leads the Paper Pen & Praise ministry at her congregation, and for fifteen years has been publishing a quarterly poetry missive for email subscribers, entitled, It’s All About…The Lamb. Her newest chapbooks are From My Heart to Yours at Christmas—Cookies & Poems and The Widow’s Song. They are available for purchase at her website. She is currently writing poems for a chapbook about her pilgrimages to Israel.
A mother and grandmother, Maude is married to Robert F. Pych. They attend Beth Israel Worship Center in Wayne and reside in Totowa, New Jersey.
