PRINCETON PUBLIC LIBRARY HOSTS POETS KATHLEEN GRABER AND PAUL MULDOON AUG. 17Poet Kathleen Graber will read from her new collection of verse, "The Eternal City," at the relaunch of the Princeton Series of Contemporary Poets, Aug. 17 at 7:30 p.m. at Princeton Public Library. Graber, who teaches in the creative writing program at Virginia Commonwealth University, will be joined by Pulitzer-Prize-winning poet Paul Muldoon, the Howard G. B. Clark '21 Professor at Princeton University and Chair of the Lewis Center for the Arts.The event is part of the library's Thinking Allowed series, co-sponsored by the library and Princeton University Press.Graber's poems have appeared in many publications including The New Yorker and American Poetry. Her first book of poetry, "Correspondence," was published in 2006. Her new book, "The Eternal City," was chosen by Muldoon to relaunch the poetry series, which under his editorship revives Princeton's tradition of publishing some of today's best poetry.Graber is the recipient of fellowships from The Rona Jaffe Foundation and The New Jersey State Council on the Arts. She holds an undergraduate degree in philosophy and a graduate degree in creative writing and is a full-time Language Lecturer at New York University. During the summer months, she resides with her husband and dog in a converted creamery in her hometown of Wildwood, New Jersey.All Princeton Public Library programs are free and open to the public.
