Poetry at Tasty Coco proudly presents Gabriella Radujko and David Lawton.
GABRIELLA RADUJKO is a librarian with public and private membership library experience. Additionally, she writes for artcards.cc, an online magazine that lists art openings and events in NYC and environs, and has a keen interest in fine art photography. Radujko has been involved in the NYC/NJ poetry community as "a good audience member" for over five years and has been writing poetry since the summer of 2009. In June 2009, she co-hosted the Poetry Tent at BOOKSNJ 2009, the book festival sponsored by the Bergen County Cooperative Library System (BCCLS) at Paramus Public Library, and in March 2010 she was the inaugural poet in "Local Poets Take on Longfellow" in The Big Read, Caldwell Public Library, Caldwell, NJ.
DAVID LAWTON is a performer and writer, originally from Woburn, Massachusetts. After graduating from the theatre program at Boston University, he was a Guest Artist in the graduate playwrighting classes taught there by Nobel Laureate (in poetry) Derek Walcott. During his twenty- five years in New York, he has acted Off-Broadway, written plays for Off-Off Broadway and sung backing vocals in the underground band Leisure Class. David’s poetry has been anthologized in Appleseeds and Best of Stain, Volume II. On Thursday April 22nd, David will be one of the performers in Mulligan’s Underground Wordrock/Music Fest in Hoboken.
There is free admission, and open mic for poetry, and a tremendous menu.
